What Is a Puppy Mill?

Angela Rogalla  How to identify Puppy Mills   April 21, 2016  No Comments

Puppy Mills

Everyday there are more and more puppies being listed on the Internet, Facebook or sold in Pet Stores, often these pups are born and spend the early weeks of their lives in Puppy Mills.

As ethical breeder, we are constantly fighting a battle to hinder puppy mills and back yard breeders.  Often, we are asked: Why their are so many dogs in local shelters, why did my previous dog have so many medical issues, or why could I not get the breeder of my puppy to return my calls.  These common questions are usually linked to a puppy or dog which was breed for the sole purpose of income.

One of our goals here at Go Puppy is to educate the public regarding unethical breeding practices , and in doing so, we hope to eventually lower the number of dogs we see entering shelters every year.
